Bali Experience

Hi there,

It's been a while since the last post. Haven't got a time for writing a post lately.. A lot had happened in my life of course, and I am grateful that God had given me such opportunities to experience new things, allowing me to grow wiser, stronger, and hopefully better.

I attended the 25th LAWASIA Conference in Bali on November, and met a lot of new people. There were so many detailed experiences I want to share to you but I think I will just let these images speak for me.

It's been a while since I post the last thing on this blog.

Lately I have been busy with many things and many people. I can actually say that I live a good life and meet a lot of good people. New things happen, unexpected things occur, and life is still full of surprises.

I try to hit the gym as often as I could lately, reconnect with old friends, and spend time with my family. It is a lot of work to balance work with personal needs. But it is good to actually have a life :)

I have also recently experienced a "de-motivation" in work. I still feel that my passion is lawyering but I feel like the routine is trapping me. And perhaps it is because I've been concentrating more on my personal life that work feels like the least priority. The other reason is perhaps, I suspect, because I have other hobbies.

I really enjoy fashion, photos, travelling and blogging. And after a few months of abandoning, I surrender myself one more time to the world of instagram :P

Waking Up On the Other Side of the Border

So, last week I went to Singapore with my cousin.

I have been there so many times (3 times this year alone). With just less than 2 hours flight, Singapore has been like a familiar playground. I aimed for somewhere farther for vacationing actually, like Korea or Japan. But when my cousin offered me to go to Singapore, I could not resist but to say yes.

It felt like a much-needed break for me as I have just been through a rough patch in my life. I was forced to adapt with a new place, and I just recently broke up (enough said).

So, being single and all, I thought, why not? I need to mend a broken heart after all. And if I got to much on  shopping, I can always blame my broken heart :P (just kidding!)

There was not much to share save that it was raining all day long the first day I got there. But managed to have a good day by going around Orchard - Holland Village - Clarke Quay. So it was OK. We closed the night by having supper at Hooters (although I personally think that the waitresses are not as pretty as they should be according to my taste).

Second day was shorter. Spent it by getting lost in Ikea (we got there before Ikea was even begin its operating hours!) and then getting lost in Changi airport (which, in every sense I could imagine, is looking too much alike with malls, with even better lighting and interior decorations --- oh, and much larger space!)

1.What do you like most about you home town ? The people, the comfy atmosphere.. 
2.Who was your favorite friend growing up ? My sister Sandrina and my BFF to date – Tety :P
3.What was your favorite childhood activity ? Writing

4.What was your best christmas that you remember ? I don’t celebrate Christmas :P

5.Who was your favorite teacher ? Each of my teachers gave me precious lessons, I have too many favorites :)
6.What was your favorite meal at school or to get in your lunch ? Mie ayam never fail me!
7.What was your favorite school subject ? Most definitely history.
8.What was your favorite school trip ? Trip to Ciater when I was in the elementary school. I don’t know why, but I have fond memories of it. I guess because I was appointed to represent the students to give farewell speech haha.
9.What is your favorite month ? December. Approaching year end, lots of sales, holidays, etc.. Yeay!
10.What is your favorite season ? Summer.
11.What is your favorite animal ? Dogs… The cute and fluffy ones.
12.What is your favorite style e.g. goth , emo , punk , trendy ? I’d go for chic for daily wear but on some occasions I like a little touch of glamor.
13.What is your favorite theme park ? Definitely Disneyland and Universal Studios.
14.What is your favorite theme park ride ? The Mummy Returns and Space Mountains.
15.what is your favorite TAKE AWAY food ? McDonalds.
16.What is your favorite item of technology ? Blackberry and Iphone. Guess I love them both equally :P
17.What piece of technology would you love to own ? Ipad
18.What type of car would you like to own ? Mercedes S Class.
19.If you could live anywhere in the world where would it be ? Barcelona. With a loving husband, children, and decent living, of course…
20.What is your favorite smell ? Something sweet yet sensual.

22.What is your favorite band ? Currently into Train, The Script.
23.What is your favorite item of clothing ? Pencil skirts, something flowy and effortless with light fabrics.

29.Do you prefer recording to VCR , DVD or HDD ? Err, this is more like my boyfie's stuff.

32.Are you afraid or snakes ? I have phobia to almost all reptiles.

35.Are you afraid of the recession ? Um, yes.
36.Do you worry about how people perceive you ? Well, sometimes I care about people and what the heck are they thinking about me. Sometimes it hurts when someone doesn’t like you or talk bad behind your back. But in the end, it’s my life and I have the right to live it to the fullest. I’ll just be good to them, hopefully they'll be good to me too :)
37.Do you enjoy your job ? Sometimes my job is my best buddy, sometimes my job is my biggest enemy.
38.Do you grit your teeth when people make a comment to you or do you speak up ? Just the grit, my lips are sealed most of those silly times -___-“
39.Do you prefer hot or cold weather ? The usual. Not too hot, not too cold.
40.Do you wear no coat even if its freezing ? I can’t stand cold weather. I wear jackets/coats!
41.If you couldn't have children would you adopt? I really love kids, so maybe (if my future husband agree)
42.If you were going to die ( morbid i know ) would you donate your money to a charity if there was no one else to give it to ? Yes.
43.Are you a tea or coffee person ? Sometimes I go for tea, but I’m more of a coffee person.
44.What is your favorite holiday eg halloween , xmas , easter? Christmas.
45.Do you prefer Disney or Warner Bros ? Disney. They’re sweet.

46.Do you like your appearance at this moment ? Yes. I'm being color coordinated (all brownie). The only thing that is not on its best is my hair (haven’t washed it yet..)
47.Would you have plastic surgery ? Liposuction perhaps, but plastic surgery.. don’t think so.
48.Would you want to be a celebrity ? I have no problem with that! Lol!
49.Would you appear on Big Brother ? Nevah.
